Coimbatore: Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Closed User Group (CUG) tariff for Corporate and Non-Corporate customers under BSNL prepaid cellular services has been reduced with effect from April 15. According to a release from BSNL, now the minimum connections required for CUG are three. Call charges among these CUG numbers will be free. As per the new tariff, for a CUG group of 3 to 25 customers under Plan Rs. 225, the monthly VPN/CUG charge is Rs. 75. Under Plan Rs. 325, the charge is Rs. 50 and for plans ranging from Rs. 525 up to Rs. 999, the CUG/VPN charge will be totally free. Corporate customers can avail themselves of the CUG facilities under Plan 140 also. Under OneIndia plan, CUG can be availed by just paying Rs. 50 for a month up to 25 connections.
