Singapore poll on May 6

SINGAPORE: Singapore will hold the next general election on May 6, the Government announced on Thursday soon after President S. R. Nathan dissolved Parliament on the advice of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. A total of 84 MPs will be elected in the nine Single Member Constituencies and 14 Group Representation Constituencies . — Xinhua
