BharatMatrimony retail initiative

CHENNAI: BharatMatrimony.com has signed an agreement with the Department of Posts to provide registration and membership services through head post offices across the country.

Head post offices will now sell membership scratch cards and registration forms of BharatMatrimony.

Vatsala Raghu, Principal Chief Postmaster General, Tamil Nadu Circle, launched the cards.

The cards will be sold in 92 head post offices in 17 circles in the State.

J. Murugavel, Chief Executive Officer, BharatMatrimony.com, said a free member of the portal could now become a paid member by purchasing the scratch cards from the nearest head post office and upgrade his or her membership online.

A non-member can fill in a registration form available at any of the head post offices in the State to get a login ID and use the services of the portal.

The membership scratch cards are available in various denominations, for three, six and nine months, from Rs.1,190 to Rs.3,810.
