University employees boycott work

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Employees of the University of Kerala on Thursday held a two-hour strike in protest against the Government decision not to extend the pay revision package to university employees in the State.
A press note issued here by The Kerala University Employees' Union said the two-hour strike started at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
The boycott was carried out in the Palayam campus and the Kariyavattom campus of the University.
The Confederation of University Employees Organisations, Kerala has, in a press note issued here on Thursday, thanked the employees took part in the boycott.
