Aishwarya Rai injured during shooting

BADAMI: Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai suffered minor injuries during a film shooting in this historic town in Bagalkot district of Karnataka on Friday.

Aishwarya was shooting for director Mani Ratnam's Hindi film Guru, also starring Abhishekh Bachchan. She was rehearsing cycling for a song sequence when she slipped, injuring her arms and legs. Following the incident, shooting was suspended.

A local medical practitioner who treated her said the injuries were of a minor nature and there was no cause for concern. — UNI
