CHENNAI: An array of platinum jewellery welcomes visitors at the showroom.

Beautiful platinum jewels are the attraction this Akshya Tritiya, which falls on April 30.

It is believed that it is auspicious to buy the white metal, along with gold and silver, on Akshya Tritiya.

The ORRA showroom on Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai is showcasing a variety of jewellery made of platinum.

Ganapataye Namah and Navratna are this year's pieces of attraction at the showroom.

The two diamond-studded platinum pendants weighing 3.53 grams and 3.31 grams respectively are priced at Rs.9,575 and Rs.10,980.

A 25 per cent discount is being offered on diamond jewellery crafted with certified Belgian diamonds on the occasion.

Other gifts are also being offered.

On Friday, astrologer Kaliyur Narayanan highlighted the significance of white at the Orra showroom.
