CHENNAI:

State-of-the-art sanitary ware, as much as Italian chandeliers or Australian floral bouquets, is the cynosure of all eyes at the Zak Interior Exterior Expo and International Furniture Fair, which began at the Chennai Trade Centre on Thursday. Rosli Ismail, Consul General of Malaysia, formally inaugurated the show, which concludes on April 23. More than 150 companies are participating in the event. Korean product `Tile Slip-Stop', an anti-slip treatment for all kinds of floor surfaces, is in the first phase of its launch in India.

For those concerned about front door safety, Classic Serie steel security doors can put an end to sleepless nights.

Syed Zakir Ahmed, Managing Director, Zak Trade Fair and Exhibitions, said the show targets consumers, architects, interior decorators as well as exporters. Exclusive time slots are being allotted to trade visitors and exporters to help negotiate long-term trade contracts.
