Training programme for CAs launched

HYDERABAD: A three-day training programme for independent directors organised by the Committee on Corporate Governance of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and hosted by Hyderabad branch was launched here on Saturday by Aparna Surabhi, chairman of the branch. The programme focuses on the role and responsibility of persons intending to serve as independent directors as well as those who are already on the board in that capacity. Amarjit Chopra and G. Ramaswamy, central council members of ICAI, spoke on the topic.
