HUBLI: Members of Hubli-Dharwad Mahanagar Zilla Congress Minority Cell have urged the State Government not to consider the recommendations of the Karnataka Minority Commission regarding the Urdu schools. In a memorandum submitted to V.R. Yaradakeri, Tahasildar of Hubli here on Saturday, they criticised the Chairman of the Minority Commission for recommending closing of all the Urdu schools in the State and make the students belonging to the minority community to study in Kannada medium schools and introduce Urdu as a language in their curriculum.
