NEW DELHI: The AIBA World women's boxing championship has been shifted from Delhi to Hyderabad. The fourth edition of the championship will be held from November 17 to 24. The Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF) had bid for New Delhi as a host for the championship during the last Worlds in Podolsk, Russia. After the capital was awarded the event, the IABF's search for a title sponsor yielded no results. The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh stepped in and proposed to host the championship and also arrange for a sponsor. The IABF was more than willing and the change of city was notified to the World body, AIBA. Sports Reporter
