BANGALORE: The Indian badminton team that will participate in the Thomas Cup finals in Tokyo from April 27 to May 7 was felicitated by the Karnataka Badminton Association here on Monday. The team will leave for Tokyo on April 25. N.C. Sudhir, honorary secretary, KBA applauded the players on their performance at the Commonwealth Games and congratulated Chetan Anand for winning the bronze medal. He also wished the team all success in the Thomas Cup. Team for Japan: Chetan Anand, Anup Sridhar, Arvind Bhat, Nikhil Kanetkar, Thomas Kurien, Rupesh Kumar, V. Diju, Jaseel P. Ismail. Coach: Vimal Kumar and Hadi Sugiyanto.
