Dell launches computer centre in city

HYDERABAD : Dell Computer India Private Limited, as part of its `Help U Grow' programme, launched its first Dell Computer Centre at the Hope Foundation in Nampally on Monday to impart computer education to under-served students.

Inaugurating the centre, Romi Malhotra, Managing Director, Dell International Services, said the centre, being set up with funds from Dell Foundation, was equipped with 30 state-of-the-art computers.

"We have made Hyderabad home for our activities in the last few years and continue to grow here contributing to the local community," he said.

The company also set up similar centres in two schools in Bangalore. Chief Program Officer, Hope Foundation, Ashok Prabath, also spoke.
