Minor fire in domestic terminal at Delhi IGI airport
New Delhi:
A minor fire broke out at the Indira Gandhi airport's domestic terminal building on Monday night.
As many as 12 fire tenders were rushed to extinguish the fire that broke out at 8.30 p.m. in the lounge located on the second floor, fire brigade sources said.
Blaze under control
The fire was finally brought under control by 9.15 p.m. without extensive damage, they said.
The sources said the fire spread to ITC lounge and Jet Airways office.
Many passengers in the airport were evacuated for some time and some flights delayed, they said. UNI
