Capturing Krishna in his many moods

Special Correspondent

Bangalore: As many as 252 photographers from across the country are participating in a national-level photography contest, "Capture Krishna", organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

The two-week camp for photographers at the temple comes to an end on Wednesday.

The photographers used their skills to capture the various moods of the temple festivities, particularly the colourful 13-day Brahmotsava.

A special committee of eminent photographers has been constituted to select the best photographers from among the many images that have been submitted to the panel.

Cash award

While all participating photographers will receive citations, the top three among them will win cash awards and mementos, to be announced after the selection process is completed.

A special exhibition of the prize-winning entries will be organised for public viewing later, ISKCON authorities have said. More details about the photography contest can be had on www.iskconbangalore.org.
