Good response to Air Force recruitment rally

KARIMNAGAR: The Air Force recruitment rally for airmen conducted at Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar district from April 18 to 25 evoked good response. Over 4,000 candidates from 13 districts of Telangana region participated.

To ensure that unemployed youth get employment and serve the nation by joining the Armed Forces, the district administration decided to conduct pre-army recruitment rallies. Accordingly, last year the authorities imparted pre-army recruitment training to 691 candidates from the district of whom 101 candidates got selected into the Army and another 82 got selected into the CRPF.

Collector C. Parthasarathi told newspersons on Tuesday that for the Air Force recruitment rally, too, training had been imparted.Air Force Wing Commander and Commanding Officer Madhur Saxena said 400 candidates are likely to selected after final scrutiny and tests.
