Local singers are having a field day with the State in the grip of election fever. Almost all the political fronts have made use of local talent to bring out parodies of the latest musical hits to drive home their point. A Muslim political outfit tuned its political propaganda songs along the lines of Mappilapattu to be used in the predominantly Muslim pockets of Paravur constituency. Several audio CDs have been brought out by the supporters of the CPI(M) for the LDF in the campaign.
