ERODE: If the Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) forms the Government in Tamil Nadu, the DMK President, M. Karunanidhi, will be the Chief Minister and the PMK will give all support to run the Government smoothly, said the PMK founder leader, S. Ramadoss, on Tuesday. Ramadoss was addressing an election meeting at Veerappanchatram, Erode, canvassing for the Erode DMK candidate, N.K.K.P. Raja.
To be fulfilled
The PMK leader said the wave in Tamil Nadu was favourable to the DPA. He said all the election promises made by Mr Karunanidhi would be fulfilled after the formation of the Government. He said both the AIADMK General Secretary, Ms Jayalalithaa and MDMK General Secretary, Vaiko, were in the grip of fear and so they were making unnecessary comments against the DPA alliance leaders. Later the PMK leader left for Olagadam where he canvassed votes for the Bhavani constituency PMK candidate, K.V. Ramanathan.
Deciding factor
On Monday, the former Union Minister Shaw Navaz Hussain canvassed for the Erode BJP candidate, Pon Chairman, in Indiranagar, Paneerselvam Park and other areas. Hussain criticised the DMK and the AIADMK and said both the Dravidian parties would not provide clean governance in the state. He said the BJP was the deciding factor in many constituencies.
