Hospitality sector booming

Chennai:
Hospitality sector is booming. And so any anniversary celebration in the sector draws attention. The Accord Metropolitan, the luxury business hotel on G.N. Chetty Road, T-Nagar, celebrated its first birthday last Saturday.
"It is a big day for us. In less than a year, we have become a landmark in the city. We look upon the last 12 months as a period where in we have developed lasting relationship with customers, employees, and affiliates alike", explains P.J. Mammen, Executive Director of the hotel.
Plans are afoot for expanding the hospitality division by setting hotels in Pondicherry and Coimbatore, besides setting up one more in Chennai, Mr. Mammen added after cutting a giant sized cake in the hotel lobby.
