KEC International bags Ethiopian orders

MUMBAI: KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders totalling $ 63.43 million (Rs. 285 crore) from Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO). The contracts are for construction of power distribution networks. Funded by the World Bank, these projects involve construction of 33 kV distribution lines for about 1,400 km and setting up 460 transformers, which would entail electrification of 73 circles, throughout Ethiopia.
