CUB raises interest rates on NRE deposits

CHENNAI: City Union Bank has revised upward the interest rate on NRE deposits to 6.30 per cent for one year and two year maturity and to 6.25 per cent for three years. FCNR rates have also been revised to 5.29 per cent for one year and 5.31 per cent for five years for U.S. dollars. For British Pound, the interest rate has been increased to 4.79 per cent for one year and 4.85 per cent for five years.
