MTNL net declines

MTNL has registered a lower net profit of Rs. 578.68 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 against Rs. 938.98 crore in the year ended March 31, 2005. Total income has decreased to Rs.5,785.57 crore from Rs. 6,084.10 crore.
