VisualSoft net declines
HYDERABAD:
VisualSoft Technologies has registered a total income of Rs. 163.91 crore and a net profit of Rs. 20.20 crore during the year ended March 31, 2006. Total income and net during the fiscal had shown a significant decline compared with the previous year when the total income was Rs. 188.18 crore and net was Rs. 28.33 crore. The company's income during the last quarter dropped to Rs. 28.95 crore from Rs. 51.44 crore during the corresponding period previous fiscal, while the net came down to Rs. 4.07 crore from Rs. 7.02 crore. Claiming that the results had been in tune with the guidance, the company said it was in a consolidation process post withdrawal of amalgamation proposals considered earlier.
