Los Angeles triumphs

NEW DELHI: Mr. Ariffullah Khan's Los Angeles (Pawan Sharma astride) won the senior division of the Good Bye Cup, the feature event of the races held here on Tuesday. A. Khan trains the winner.

The stewards of the Delhi Race Club declared the first race - Family Welfare Stakes - null & avoid after holding an enquiry into the race at the behest of the stipendiary stewards. Actually, as soon as the opening event came to an end, the racegoers started protesting against the manner of jockey S. Amjad Khan, he rode Dazzling Win. He prevented him from running on his merits finishing close second to the stablemate and the favourite Confidential Lady.
