ANANTAPUR: With the police failing to submit the case diary file relating to the murder of former MLA K. Suryapratap Reddy, the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court at Tadipatri on Tuesday postponed to Thursday the hearing on the petition seeking 10 days custody of the four surrendered suspects. Upholding the argument of the defence lawyer, the judge, P. Venugopala Rao observed that the material placed before the court was not sufficient to impress the judicial conscience to send the suspects to police custody. He asked the police to submit the entire investigation file till date, known as case dairy part one, by Tuesday evening. But the police failed to produce the case diary and sought two days time for the purpose. Accordingly, the judge later postponed the hearing to Thursday.
