Special Correspondent
Srikakulam: Senior TDP leader and former Minister G.Appala Suryanarayana on Monday wanted comprehensive amendments to be made to the provisions governing the Anti-Corruption Bureau and redefinition of the `disproportionate assets' phrase frequently used by the sleuths of ACB. The ACB, at present functioning under Government control, should be made at least semi-autonomous to act independently, he added. In a statement here, Mr.Suryanarayana said that reforms should begin at the top to create a `corruption-free' society.
