Prasad had an argument with his father when the latter decided to give his land to his daughter as a marriage gift. At midnight on Monday, Prasad took his father to a secluded place. An altercation ensued between them when Prasad demanded his share in the land. And in a fit of anger, he killed his father by strangulating his neck, the police said. Moreover, he disclosed the incident to his brother-in-law and threatened him at knifepoint when he tried to nab him. The police have registered a case and launched a manhunt for the accused.
