THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct tests for recruitment of higher secondary teachers in 11 subjects in May, the PSC said in a press release on Tuesday. The PSC will conduct tests in other subjects afterwards. For Malayalam, Arabic and Sanskrit, the candidates should have postgraduate degrees in the subject concerned and B.Ed., in addition to the other qualifications specified in the notification issued earlier. Only candidates who are in the `list-1' published by the PSC in this connection will be allowed to attend the tests in these three subjects. In the case of the other eight subjects, only candidates having B.Ed. degrees in the subjects concerned or in the faculty in addition to the qualifications specified in the earlier notification will be allowed to take the tests. The PSC has published the results of the departmental test for legal assistants conducted by it in September 2005.
