Campaign to eliminate child labour

HYDERABAD:
The State Government on Tuesday launched a strategic initiative to remove child labour. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy released a poster highlighting the need to enrol children in school.
The initiative involves a comprehensive strategy to cover the twin cities apart from the 1,250 slums. The State-based, Project for Elimination of Child Labour has been approved by the International Labour Organisation for implementation in the twin cities along with Kurnool and Mahbubnagar.
