Grievances meetings

The Superintending Engineer, South Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, will hold a consumer grievances meeting at the office of the Executive Engineer at Palladam on April 26 at 11 a.m.

A similar meeting will be held by the Superintending Engineer, North Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, at the Executive Engineer's office at Avanashi on April 26 at 11 a.m.

Summer camps

Scholars' Academy is organising a summer camp in spoken English for children aged between eight and 15 years. The camp will focus on learning through activities. Participants will be given free study materials and refreshments. The seven-day camp will conclude on April 30. For registration, contact: 5569403.

Gowri Arts and Paintings will organise a free three-day summer camp on May 13, 14 and 15 at T.A Ramalingam Chettiar Primary School. Participants will get a chance to experiment with Fevicryl's latest ceramic colours and silk colours. The class for women and children will include Tanjore, ceramic and glass painting. Conference

The Department of Civil Engineering of VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology will organise a national conference on "Frontline Areas of Civil Engineering." Experts attending the conference will discuss recent developments in civil engineering. It will be inaugurated on April 28 by M.S. Palanichamy, Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Open University. The valediction will be held on April 29 with A.R Shanthakumar, Emeritus Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) as the chief guest.

Painting exhibition

Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust Cultural Centre will organise an exhibition of V. Rajagopal's works on April 26. It will be inaugurated by P.A. Naresh, Chief Educational Officer.

Menaka Naresh will light the lamp in the presence of C.V. Soundararajan, Managing Trustee, Kasthuri Sreenivasan Trust. The exhibition will be on display till April 30.
