Educational exhibition from April 27

Counselling on career for graduates and students will be offered

TIRUCHI : A three-day Educational Guidance and Exhibition (`EDGE 2006') will be held in the city under the joint auspices of Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust, Komarapalayam, Rotary Club of Tiruchi Midtown and Trues Do Way, Komarapalayam, from April 27.

Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Trust, A. K. Natesan, said the objective of the exhibition was twin-fold. It would offer counselling on educational career for graduates and students who passed X, Plus-II and Polytechnic courses.

Secondly, educational-cum-career guidance for those qualified in higher education, would also be given.

The exhibition would cater to the career needs of students from several districts including Tiruchi, Perambalur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Karur.

The Director, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchi, M. Chidambaram, will inaugurate the exhibition to be held at Hotel Mayas, he said.
