Fire in ex-MP's flat

New Delhi: A minor fire broke out in a flat of a former Member of Parliament in New Delhi on Tuesday night but there were no casualties, fire officials said.

The fire was reported from the flat of T. Venkatarama Reddy, a former MP, in a building on Ferozshah Road at about 9 p.m., the officials said adding that six fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was extinguished within a short time. --PTI
