Computerised reservation affected in 140 centres

CHENNAI:
Computerised reservation in all 140 centres in Southern Railway was disrupted for more than an hour on Wednesday morning. Railway sources said the centralised system in the Moore Market complex broke down at 8.50 a.m. owing to a technical fault. It was rectified only at 10 a.m. Reservation in the centres in the Bangalore and Mysore divisions of South Western Railway was also affected, as they were also linked to the system here.
The breakdown caused inconvenience to hundreds of passengers.
