SIEMA recommends hike in pumpset prices

COIMBATORE: The Southern India Engineering Manufacturers' Association has suggested to its members to effect an increase in the pumpset prices as costs of raw material (pig iron, copper, aluminium, gun metal) have shot up. It had suggested a similar increase in 2003. The new hike recommended ranges between eight and 12 per cent from the manufacturers' list price with immediate effect.
