National Tax conference
COIMBATORE:
The Fiscal Laws Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will organise a national tax conference here on April 29. About 800 delegates from different parts of the country will attend this programme, which will be inaugurated by T. N. Manoharan, President of the ICAI. The Chairman of the Coimbatore Branch of the Institute, Pravin Maheshwari, told presspersons here on Wednesday that the conference would focus on taxation on real estate transactions, especially in relation to builders and developers, and on service tax on the construction industry, goods transport agencies and clubs and associations.
