Gurgaon: Industry chamber CII has urged Haryana Government to undertake labour reforms and improve power situation in the State. A CII of Haryana State Council met Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday to discuss various problems faced by the industry. On the issue of `frequent strikes acting as deterrent to potential investors', the CII urged the State Government to ensure `zero per cent strike rate'. The Chief Minister informed the delegation about a series of measures aimed at maintaining industrial peace and harmony initiated to provide an environment conducive to industry and labour force in the State. The delegation also expressed serious concern over the `deteriorating' power situation in Haryana, especially for the industry. -- PTI
