BANGALORE: Six persons, including a two-year-old boy, were killed in road accidents reported in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday. Two persons riding a motorcycle were killed after they were hit by a lorry near Harlur Gate on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday. The police gave the names of the dead as Siddu (25) of Bettadalsur and Gopal (22) of Vidyanagar Cross. According to the police, the two were on their way from Solibele to Devanahalli on Hoskote-Devanahalli Highway when the accident occurred. The Devanahalli police have registered a case. Rajesh (2) was killed after he was run over by a water tanker on a construction site on Suranjandas Road on Wednesday. According to the police, Rajesh was the son of a labourer engaged in construction work on site on the premises of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Rajesh died on the spot when the tanker driver reversed the vehicle without noticing the boy. The Indiranagar traffic police have registered a case. Antony (54), a goods autorickshaw driver, was killed after his vehicle overturned on Rajkumar Road near Sujatha cinema on Wednesday. The police said passers-by immediately took the driver to a private nursing home, but he died. A 45-year-old man was killed after a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus hit him on Hennur Main Road in Banaswadi traffic police station limits on Tuesday. The identity of the victim is yet to be established. In another case, a 40-year-old person was killed after a private bus hit him near Hudson Circle on Tuesday. The police have registered a case.
