NEW DELHI : Taking note of former External Affairs Minister K. Natwar Singh's statements against the policies of the Manmohan Singh Government, including Nepal, Iran and the Volcker report probe, the Congress on Friday announced that the matter would be discussed at the "highest level." While maintaining that the Congress was not involved in the oil-for-food contracts, party spokesperson Rajiv Shukla said "whatever he [Natwar Singh] has said will be discussed at the highest level." On the Volker report probe, Mr. Natwar Singh had observed it was up to the Congress, which was also named as a non-contractual beneficiary in the report, to clear its name. The Congress said its treasurer Moti Lal Vora had responded to whatever information was sought from him by the Justice R.S. Pathak Commission.
