Suresh Muthukulam for Mexico City

ALAPPUZHA: Suresh Muthukulam, mural artist and head of murals department at Vastu Vidya Gurukulam, Aranmula, under the State Government, has been selected to participate in the International Mural Painting Conference to be held at Mexico City from May 17 to 19.

The conference, named `Ancient Roots, New Directions,' is being organised by The Diego Rivera Foundation with the support of the National Institute of Literature and Fine Arts, Mexico, and the National Department of Public Education, Mexico. Mr. Suresh said one of his murals drawn in the traditional style and another mural, representing a village life drawn in a different style, would be exhibited at the conference. He would also present a paper at the conference.
