Bail denied to housing scam accused

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Friday denied bail to two accused in the multi-crore Dwarka Housing Societies scam.

Justice BD Ahmad observed that `custodial interrogation' of both the accused, Pradeep Mehta and Rakesh Gupta, had to be followed for scrutiny of the documents in their possession.

Counsel for the aggrieved members of the housing societies NN Agrawal submitted before the court that the accused had forged the signatures of many bonafide members of six housing societies in Dwarka.
