MCH sweeper knocked down

A MCH sweeper G. Rajamani, 28, on Friday succumbed to the injuries she received after a speeding van hit her at Shaikpet on Thursday. A passer-by Ramu too suffered grievous injuries in the incident.

Rag-picker killed

Unidentified persons killed a rag-picker Anil alias Chotu, 24, by smashing his head with a boulder at a park near Secunderabad Clock Tower in the early hours of Friday. The victim was a native of Bihar.
