HYDERABAD: A highflying financier was found murdered in his bungalow here at Anandnagar Colony of Khairatabad on Friday. Police suspect the involvement of four servants, including a watchmanwho went missing since morning. Shocked family members of the victim, Jasbir Singh Sadana alias Babli, 39, were not in a position to estimate the exact value of stolen property, but said it could be around Rs. 8 lakhs. Police said the financier returned home in his Mercedes Benz around 2.30 a.m. The financier's joint family used to live on the first floor. Sadana would sleep in his late father's room whenever he returned home late.
No signs of resistance
A bloodstained iron pipe found beside the body suggested that the killers had bludgeoned his head with it while he was fast asleep. There were no signs of resistance.
Son finds body
Around 10 a.m., her four-year-old son asked Sadana's wife Reena about Satya, one of the servants. It was then she asked her elder son Angad, 8, to wake up his father. "The boy went to the bedroom and came back crying seeing his father lying in a pool of blood," West Zone DCP Amit Garg said. Police suspect Satya hatched the plot with the other three servants and all of them escaped by the A.P. Express after the murder.
