New Orleans: Arjun Atwal failed to make his fourth cut this season as he dropped out of contention in the six-million dollar Zurich Classic of New Orleans at the English Turn Golf and Country Club here with a poor three-over 75 score in the second round. A double-bogey on the last hole summed up the day for Arjun Atwal. Atwal started with a birdie on the first but dropped shots on the next two holes before he double-bogeyed the fifth. The birdie, which came on the next hole, was followed by a bogey on the ninth as he finished an eventful front-nine.American Joe Durrant fired a blemish-free eight-under 64 studded with eight birdies to overtake overnight leader Graeme McDowell.
