Balachandra Menon to open the programme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A short-term film and television-training programme for children organised by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation and National Film Academy will begin on Thursday at the Chaitram Hotel at Thampanoor.

The three-day training camp will be inaugurated by noted filmmaker Balachandra Menon at 3 p.m. Padma Vibhushan winner Adoor Gopalakrishnan and film actor Babu Antony will visit the camp and interact with the students.

Leading personalities from film and television world will also participate in the training camp.

The camp is open to children in the age group of 7 to 16 years.
