VISAKHAPATNAM: Vizag Journalists Forum-I moved into the final of volleyball event of the second CMR-VJF inter-media sports meet here on Saturday. After edging out The Hindu Business Line 22-25 in the quarterfinals, VJF-I rallied to beat The New Indian Express 15-17, 15-13,15-12 in the semifinals. In the final, VJF-I meets Justice Today, which downed Eenadu 8-15,15-12,15-11 in the other semifinal. Eenadu finished third, beating TNIE 15-12,15-13. The tournament was declared opened by the Commissioner of Police, V.S.K. Kaumudi. Managing Director of CMR Shopping Mall, M. Venkata Ramana, president of AP Volleyball Association, S. Kodandaramiah, former Olympian M.V. Manikyalu, in charge of the SAI Hostel, Kishore, and office-bearers of VJF and Visakha Sports Journalists Association, were present.
