MALAPPURAM: The Election Commission has ordered re-polling at a polling station in the Perinthalmanna constituency following the failure of the electronic voting machine there. The voting machine at booth no.109 at Poonthanam Memorial U.P. School, Keezhattur, had got stuck around 4 p.m. on Saturday. The polling officials could not close this machine. The commission ordered a re-poll based on a report given by Election Observer A.M. Chathopadhyay. The re-poll would take place on Tuesday, District Collector T.T. Antony said.
