Audi's first showroom in South India

BANGALORE: German Luxury Car maker Audi plans to touch a million car sales by 2008-09, Company Board of Management (Marketing and Sales) Member, Ralph Weyler, said. Launching Audi's first showroom in South India, he said the global sales had touched 835 lakhs last year and it was targeted to cross one million in a couple of years. He said the company came to India last year and appointed dealers in Delhi and Mumbai. Bangalore was considered as the most appropriate place to cover in South, he said, adding that Jubilant Motors would take care of the after sales facilities. He said Audi expected the Indian sales to touch 400 this year.
