Tea Board files caveat

KOLKATA: The Tea Board has filed caveats before the Calcutta High Court and lower courts in West Bengal on any possible legal challenge to its hike in brokerage fees at tea auction centres. The Board has also filed caveats in the City Civil Court here and Siliguri civil court in North Bengal, against the chairmen of the Calcutta Tea Traders Association, the Guwahati Tea Auction Committee and the Siliguri Tea Auction Committee to pre-empt any move by them to obtain an ex-parte order.
