CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government would refurnish the existing Mountain Quail Motel at Morni at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crore to attract more tourists to the hilly terrains of Shivalik foothills besides adding four rooms at Tikkar Taal, Minister of State for Tourism Kiran Choudhary said on Tuesday during a visit to the area. The new tourism policy would also be unveiled shortly, she added. She said there was a great potential for promoting tourism in the region. The existing motel would be dismantled and eight rooms would be constructed, including two VIP rooms, besides a conference hall and underground parking. The tender has already been invited and the work will begin within next 15 days and completed within nine months
