Signature campaign against move to remove taps

KADAPA: CPI (M) and TDP leaders undertook a signature campaign in front of the Collectorate on Tuesday demanding that Kadapa Municipal Corporation give up plans to remove all public taps and to fix water meters.

The Congress promised before municipal elections to develop Kadapa into a model town, but was taking decisions that would burden poorer sections and middle classes, CPI (M) town secretary K. Anjaneyulu and TDP town president B. Hariprasad said.
