GUNTUR: A student of Veda Vedantha Maha Vidhyalaya at Madipadu in Acchampat mandal of Guntur district, Digumarthi Rajesh Sarma (15) met a watery grave when he went to the nearby bank of river Krishna for bathing. According to the Acchampet police Sub Inspector K.Sesha Rao, a group of students belonging to the school went to the river on Monday evening. Suddenly Sarma went into deep waters and was washed away. His classmates immediately rushed to the school and informed elders, who launched a search. The body was traced next morning.
